Oro Valley Real Estate - Smooth Shipping
The holiday season is bound to be a bit different than year's past. It's usually the United States Postal Service's (USPS) busiest time of the year in a typical year, and then you add the challenges of this year. To help keep stress at bay, the USPS has released its 2020 shipping deadlines to help you avoid frustration.
If possible, you'll want to order and mail your gifts as early as possible. The USPS recommends getting your items in the mail by December 15 if you're using ground services to ensure your items arrive before December 25.
If you wait too long, you can use First-Class Mail services, allowing you until December 18 to get your package to your destination on time. The Priority Mail Express service, the most costly option, has a December 23 deadline.
If you send gifts locally, you still may want to consider shipping to keep everyone safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, many stores offer in-store pickup, which will further save on overall shipping time.
If packages do get delayed, try to keep everything in perspective, and have a happy holiday season!
